Veterans Day Program

Every year our school does a Veterans Day Program and every year it makes cry. I love the songs the students sing. This year Taylor got to write an essay about her grandpa Larry. She is so proud of him.

A night Under the Sea

Our metabolic team put together “A Night Under the Sea” for people with PKU and their families. We had so much fun. It was held at The Living Plant Aquarium. We have been there a couple of times before and the girls love it so they couldn’t wait to go! There were some different low protein foods for the girls to try and then a drawing for prizes. We won 3 things!!!! Yay :)

THRILLER!!!!

Yay!!! Thriller is something I really really look forward to every year!! I love everything about it. I have seen it at a few different places. This year me and Julia went up to Kingsbury Hall to watch it and it was great. We tried several times to get a good picture of us and never did lol We had such a fun day shopping, dinning and visiting!! Thanks Julia :) Cant wait tell next year!

Halloween

Halloween was really fun this year! Shaylees preschool class got to dress up and have a party and I was able to go help with it.

After Shaylees Halloween party I got to go help with Taylors class party. We had a lot of fun playing games with the class. After school was over it was time to set up for the carnival. I am so thankful for my mom, I had such a crazy busy day and she came over and helped me get the girls all dressed up so that I could do the things I needed to do for the carnival. I couldn’t have got everything done if it wasn’t for her!!!

This year Taylor went trick or treating with some of her friends and then came to the carnival. Brooklyn and Shaylee stayed at the carnival the whole time and played with grandma. After the carnival we drove around town and did some trick or treating. I missed Mike being with us he had to work but we still had a very fun day!

Pumpkins

This fall the weather has been much warmer than normal so we decided to take our pumpkins out on the grass and paint them rather than carve them. The girls had so much fun and the pumpkins turned out so cute. I hope we can do this next year!

Guess who lost a tooth?

Shaylee lost her first tooth, kind of anyway. She had to have a tooth pulled a few months ago because of an abscess but this is the first tooth she has lost all on her own!!! She was very excited :)

Shaylees first day of pre-school!!!

After Shaylees “guys” started school Shaylee couldn’t wait for her school to start. She has been so excited to go make some friends to play with and she loves Miss Cassie!!! I cant believe this will be the last year a have a child in pre-school :( its really sad but im so excited for Shaylee. She is such a sweet little thing. I hope she can learn to be more comfortable around people this year and just have a lot of fun!!!

Tumbling!!!

This year we put the girls in ballet and tumbling. They have been LOVING it!!!

Family Fun :)

We went for a family ride up maple canyon and came down log canyon. Taylor is not one who loves a thrill so there were a few times during our ride she wasn’t to happy. We stopped at a spring and she was not in the best of moods so Mike is telling her she doesn’t need to worry and that he wont take us some place unsafe, you know all the things parents say to try and calm down their kids when they are scared. It took us awhile to finally calm her down but we did it and we ended up having a good time!

First Day of School

I cant believe its time for school to start again and I really cant believe that I have a 4th grader or that Brooklyn will be in school all day long!!! They are both so excited for the school year to begin. Poor Shaylee doesn’t start school for a few more weeks and she is not to happy about that. She got up and got ready with her big sisters and she had to have pictures taken too!! Taylor and Brooklyn are so excited for school to begin! I wish them all the best of luck this year!!

Summer Fun

We found a fun little place to play this summer with the kids. I think it will be a place we end up spending many summer days!!

Shaylee and me are a little scared to try the rope swings but Mike and the girls love them!!

Cotton Candy!!!!

Brooklyn got a cotton candy maker for her birthday and we have lots of fun making yummy cotton candy!!!

Trip to the Zoo

Taylor and Shaylee had doctor appointments at Primary Childrens Hospital this summer and we always try to do something fun as a family the day we go up for their appointments. The appointment went good and the girls were happy because they left with some goodie bags!!

They are just waiting for lab work :( its not their favorite but they are really good to have it done!

The girls have to fast for their blood work so we always go have a yummy meal at Red Robins after we leave the hospital!!

Off to the zoo we go!! We had so much fun. We have been to the zoo quite a few times but we had never seen the polar bear before. It was awesome to sit and watch him swim back and forth.. All of the animals were so active the day we went, So much fun!
