Veterans Day Program

Our elementary school puts a Veterans Day Program on every year. I love it. I think it is so important for our kids to learn about how we got our freedoms and about the men and women who are still fighting for us today. I am so grateful to all of the men and women who have and who are and who will fight for our country! My favorite part of the program is when the veterans get to stand when their song is sang. Every time I see Larry stand it brings tears to my eyes. I am so proud and thankful for him and for what he has done for our country.

Our Horse

This is our horse Angel. Mike had been out moving our cows and when he came home with the horse all saddled up and ready to go the girls had to have a ride! It was just a quick one around the yard because poor Angel was very tired as you can see in the pictures. I love the outfits the girls have on, pjs and cowgirl boots, pjs and dress shoes! Shaylee was the only one dressed for the day! Very cute :)

Halloween

For Halloween this year Taylor was a Vampire, Brooklyn a Pop Star Cowgirl, and Shaylee a Catarina! We had a fun day but it was VERY cold. First we went to the school carnival. They have big blow up slides and playhouses and the girls just love it. Sadly this year the carnival was closed about 30 minutes after we got there due to bad weather :( After the carnival we went over to Fairview and did Trunk or Treat with my sister Alesha and her kids.... it rained like crazy! Needless to say we were ALL drenched when it was over. We went to a few homes after that and called it a night.
