Brooklyn turns 6!!!!

Brooklyn turned 6 on June 30, 2012. I cant believe how fast time has gone by. I have been blessed with such a sweet little girl. She is such a caring little thing, always willing to help me with whatever I ask her to do. She try's so hard to make sure everyone is happy. I couldn’t imagine life with out her!! For her birthday this year she wanted to have a big friend party so we invited a bunch of girls over and had a water party!!!!




We had family come over for cake and ice cream a few days after her friend party. She looks up to her older sister so much and wants to be just like her so of course she wanted monster high dolls and a monster high cake however she had one other request……………….. a cotton candy maker!!! Oh joy let the fun begin :/ haha

TUACAHN

I love our annual girls trip to TUACAHN!! It is something that both me and the girls look forward to and lets be honest, im sure Mike doesn’t mind having the house to himself for a few days :) This year we saw Aladdin and it was great. I still think my favorite is The Little Mermaid but we all loved Aladdin they do an amazing job! I hope this is something we do for years to come!!!!

After the show the kids love to go meet the cast members and have pictures. I have to say as hot as it is in St. George I wouldn’t mind skipping this part but the kids love it so we do it! Shaylee gets very nervous around people and so you can imagine how it is getting her up by these actors in strange costumes, this is the first year I have been able to get some pictures of her with them!! I was very excited.

For me the genie was the best!!! By far my favorite character. It was tons of fun and something we will never forget.

May Day

At the end of every school year our kids learn a dance and perform them for the community. This year my friend Julia and me was asked to put together a dance for Taylors class. We did it to The Beach Boys. It was really fun!!! Brooklyn's class did their dance to "I Love School and school loves me" which is a song Brooklyn loves to sing :)


I didn’t get any pictures of the girls doing their dance because I was recording them but this is them before we left. They look pretty cute.

On the last day of school they handed out awards for each class and guess what………… Taylor did awesome!!!! She got her math skills from her dad that’s for sure! She got a 1st place in multiplication and addition and a 3rd place in subtraction!!!!! Way to go Taylor we are so proud of you! Keep up the good work :)

Brooklyn's Kindergarten Graduation!

Brooklyn has had the best year! She has loved meeting new people and most of all she loved her teacher Mrs. Day!! She is a great teacher and I will be sad not to have her next year. For their graduation program they sang all the songs they had learned through out the year and then Mrs. Day and Principle Cox gave them their “Kindergarten Diploma” Poor Brooklyn started to cry when she got hers because she really likes Mrs. Day and doesn’t want the year to be over :(

Brooklyn I am so proud of you and all that you have accomplished this year!!!

Taylors 9th Birthday!!

Yep she's 9 years old………………. I can’t believe it! She is such a sweet girl!! She brings so many smiles to my face everyday. We love you so much Taylor. For her friend party she wanted to go to grandma and grandpas house to watch a movie in their theater room and have pizza. She had lots of fun!! Some how I missed getting a picture of all them :( We did her family party a few days after her birthday. All she wanted was Monster High stuff!!! I think she got what she wanted :)
