For New Years we took the girls out for bowling and dinner. Mike and Taylor have both bowled before, for the rest of us it was our first time! Yes that's right i am 28 years old and have never been bowling. I have a BIG fear of doing things in front of people so I am very proud of myself and....... I had fun!!!! The girls loved it and so did Mike. After bowling and dinner we came home and watched movies and had treats to ring in the New Year :)

"SNOW" much fun!
We have so much snow! It reminds me of when i was a little kid...... snow banks as high as i am. The kids have been so excited about having this much snow. I thought it would be fun to dress them up and let "them" play in the snow while i took pictures. Funny how I ended up in snow clear up to my knees! It was tons of fun though!!!!
I hate when that happens!!! Berrrr
Christmas
Christmas is my favorite time of year. I love the craziness of it, the decorations, the waiting, seeing family (however i could do without the snow). I just love it. I also love the spirit of Christmas. I am so gratefull for the birth of my savior. On Christmas morning my little Brooklyn got up and whispered to me "mom guess who's birthday it is today?" I asked her who's birthday it was and she said "my brothers!" I cant tell you how happy i was that even with all of the toys and fun around my girls they still remembered the true meaning of Christmas!
Each year for Christmas eve we go to my grandma and grandpas for our family christmas party. Santa always comes and of course the kids love it. My favorite part is watching my grandparents open their gifts! As always we had a great party!
I don't have a picture of Shaylee on Santa's lap because she was not about to get anywhere near him! This is a picture of her after she realized she wasn't going to have to sit on his lap!
Taylor is always excited to see Santa but in the end gets a little scared. She asked him for a doll house which was a surprise to me because up until then she had been asking for a lalaloopsy doll!
Brooklyn climbed up on his lap like he was a long lost friend! She asked for a lalaloopsy doll!
This year my mom and dad made blankets for my girls. They LOVE them!
Every year after the party at my grandma and grandpas we ride over to my mom and dads house to watch them open their gifts. While we are there we give the girls new jammies. This year they got Tangled jammies. They all look so cute! Payton, Shaylee, Taylor, Amy, Brooklyn and Jax.
Shaylee got alot of toys for christmas but i think her favorite was the jeep!
Brooklyn and Taylor both got the same things for christmas this year. They got their lalaloopsy dolls but i think they were more excited about their ipods. They are really mp3 players but the girls call them ipods. Same thing right :)
This year me and Mike gave the girls a swing set. I wasn't sure how to give it to them though because you cant really set it up in all this snow! I took a picture of it and wrapped it in the box. Taylor and Brooklyn were very excited! Poor Shaylee wasn't sure what to be excited about but im sure come summer she is going to love it!
So sorry about all of the pictures. I get kinda camera happy but for memory sake in years to come i wanted to put a picture of what Santa brought each of the girls.

We had a such a good Christmas! I hope everyone else did too!
I had to throw these pictures in too! I bought new decoration for my tree this year.
I would love to keep all of the art work the girls do but i really don't have a good place to keep so i thought id take pictures. This is what they did for Christmas.

Veterans Day Program
Our elementary school puts a Veterans Day Program on every year. I love it. I think it is so important for our kids to learn about how we got our freedoms and about the men and women who are still fighting for us today. I am so grateful to all of the men and women who have and who are and who will fight for our country! My favorite part of the program is when the veterans get to stand when their song is sang. Every time I see Larry stand it brings tears to my eyes. I am so proud and thankful for him and for what he has done for our country.
Our Horse
This is our horse Angel. Mike had been out moving our cows and when he came home with the horse all saddled up and ready to go the girls had to have a ride! It was just a quick one around the yard because poor Angel was very tired as you can see in the pictures. I love the outfits the girls have on, pjs and cowgirl boots, pjs and dress shoes! Shaylee was the only one dressed for the day! Very cute :)
Halloween
For Halloween this year Taylor was a Vampire, Brooklyn a Pop Star Cowgirl, and Shaylee a Catarina! We had a fun day but it was VERY cold. First we went to the school carnival. They have big blow up slides and playhouses and the girls just love it. Sadly this year the carnival was closed about 30 minutes after we got there due to bad weather :( After the carnival we went over to Fairview and did Trunk or Treat with my sister Alesha and her kids.... it rained like crazy! Needless to say we were ALL drenched when it was over. We went to a few homes after that and called it a night.
