The girls had a great time carving their own pumpkins this year somehow i forgot to take a picture of them in the dark :/ but at least i have pictures of the girls at work!!!
This week also happened to be red ribbon week and for halloween they got to dress up as Duck Dynasty!!
For Halloween Taylor was Captain Jack Sparrow Brooklyn was a She devil and Shaylee was going to be a skeleton but changed her mind that day and wanted to be Phil from Duck Dynasty :)
Mike turned 34 this year! We are getting old lol the girls made him a big card and hung on the wall for him for when he got home from work. Im so lucky to have such a great husband and father for my girls! I love him so much! Happy birthday honey!!!!
We had a check up for Taylor and Shaylees PKU and as always we like to make the day a fun one so this time we went to This is the Place Heritage Park in SLC. It was a lot of fun. The girls got to play like they were washing clothes the old fashion way, beat the dust out of rugs and all other sorts of things. They thought it was pretty fun and wondered why we don’t wash clothes that way anymore lol I’m sure once they start doing their own laundry they will be very thankful for modern day conveniences!!
I can't believe I'm already half way through this pregnancy!! It is flying by (now that I'm feeling better) and we still have so much to do and buy before this sweet little baby comes into our lives. Im glad its going fast though because I can't wait to hold my baby! We had our 20 week ultra sound on Sept. 12th, everything looked great and we found out we are having a BOY!!! Yay!!!!!!! Im not even kidding when I say I thought Mike was going to pass out. We are so excited to meet our little guy :)
Taylor and her dance team were ask to perform at the High School Hawks football game. She was so excited :) This was their first time they have performed this year and they did so good!! I was very proud of all them. Wait to go DANCE COMPANY B!!!!!
I can't believe summer is all ready over and its time for school again. I wish I could say I'm excited but I'm not ready for school to start yet I love having my kids home with me. I also can't believe how fast they are growing up :/
Taylor is going into the 5th grade this year!!! I can't believe she is that old. Her teacher is Mr. Anderson. He is new to our school but we have heard very good things about him and are excited for the year :)
Brooklyn is going into 2nd grade this year!!! It still seems like she should be in Kindergarten! Her teacher is Mrs. Jacobson. She is a good teacher. I don't think I have ever heard this lady raise her voice. Brooklyn is going to have a great year :)
Shaylee is a big Kindergartener!!! Can you believe it. She is finally at the big school with her sisters. She is a little nervous about it but she has Mrs. Day for a teacher and she is amazing!! I know Shaylee is going to love being in Kindergarten :)
And the "NEWS" is…………...
That's right!! We are having a baby!!!!!! It was a BIG surprise but we are so excited. When we told the girls we had each of them unwrap a hint and see if they could guess what surprise we had to tell them. They were so happy when they found out :) The following day we told our family and friends by showing them the picture "A New Addition"
The Lamb show is something the girls do each year. They have fun spending the time with their dad while they work with their lambs. Brooklyn and Shaylee show their lamb in the show but they aren't old enough to compete yet so they get a ribbon and $10 for being in the show :)
Taylor has been able to compete and sell her lamb for the last few years. She thought this year was extra fun because her friend Shalyce got to help her show one of our lambs.
Taylor sold her lamb for $500!!! Talk about a happy girl. She always helps pay for her school clothes with her money and then puts the rest away for something really big that she has been wanting.
This year all 3 girls got to play softball. Taylor and Brooklyn had fun but Shaylee LOVED it!!!
We love our yearly trip to Tuacahn. It is right up there with Christmas in my girls eyes :) This year the play was Mary Poppins. It was good but I have enjoyed the other plays in the past more however my girls loved it and we had a super fun trip!!!
Yep my little Brooklyn is 7 years old!!! CRAZY!!!! She is growing up way to fast but we are sure enjoying her :) For her birthday this year when people would ask me what she wanted i would tell them if its "as seen on TV" she will want it and I wasn't kidding!! She wants the slippers the hair chalk the icy makers, you name it she wanted it lol she also wanted Lego friends and monster high dolls. She was very clear about not wanting a cake. She told me she's not really a cake person and that she just wanted milky way candy bars, ice cream and sunny delight for her party :/ she is such a funny girl!
For her friend birthday she wanted to go swimming. We went up to Payson and had a very fun time!!
