May Day

At the end of every school year our kids learn a dance and perform them for the community. This year my friend Julia and me was asked to put together a dance for Taylors class. We did it to The Beach Boys. It was really fun!!! Brooklyn's class did their dance to "I Love School and school loves me" which is a song Brooklyn loves to sing :)


I didn’t get any pictures of the girls doing their dance because I was recording them but this is them before we left. They look pretty cute.

Good job Taylor

On the last day of school they handed out awards for each class and guess what………… Taylor did awesome!!!! She got her math skills from her dad that’s for sure! She got a 1st place in multiplication and addition and a 3rd place in subtraction!!!!! Way to go Taylor we are so proud of you! Keep up the good work :)

Brooklyn's Kindergarten Graduation!

Brooklyn has had the best year! She has loved meeting new people and most of all she loved her teacher Mrs. Day!! She is a great teacher and I will be sad not to have her next year. For their graduation program they sang all the songs they had learned through out the year and then Mrs. Day and Principle Cox gave them their “Kindergarten Diploma” Poor Brooklyn started to cry when she got hers because she really likes Mrs. Day and doesn’t want the year to be over :(

Brooklyn I am so proud of you and all that you have accomplished this year!!!

Taylors 9th Birthday!!

Yep she's 9 years old………………. I can’t believe it! She is such a sweet girl!! She brings so many smiles to my face everyday. We love you so much Taylor. For her friend party she wanted to go to grandma and grandpas house to watch a movie in their theater room and have pizza. She had lots of fun!! Some how I missed getting a picture of all them :( We did her family party a few days after her birthday. All she wanted was Monster High stuff!!! I think she got what she wanted :)

Family Trip

This is the second year we have went to Mesquite for a family vacation. My mom and dad take me and my brother and sisters and our family down to stay for a few days and we LOVE it!!! It is so much fun. We spent a lot of time playing in the pool or just out in the yard of the Highland Estates where we stay. There is such a nice area to gather outside and just hang out. Just fyi I have A LOT of pictures…………….

We had lots of cannon balls into the pool and my favorite was Mike, Michael and Justin doing it at the same time.

The next day we went bowling and to a movie. And just played a lot more outside. The morning we left we swam for awhile and then had some lunch and headed home. We had so much fun! Thanks mom and dad for all the fun memories. I love you more than you’ll ever know!!!!!

School Filed Trip

The girls both got to go to the Bean Museum for a school field trip. We had so much fun. I was able to be with both Taylor and Brooklyn all day.  First we went to the museum and looked at all the animals and then we went to a park for lunch and the kids got to run around and play for awhile. After lunch we went back to the museum and seen some really cool animals! My favorite was the tortoise it was so cute! We also got to pet a really big snake. That wasn’t my favorite but the girls loved it!!!!

 

Dance Competition

Taylor and Brooklyn had a couple of competition this year. They both did so good. We were very proud of them!!
