Our elementary school puts a Veterans Day Program on every year. I love it. I think it is so important for our kids to learn about how we got our freedoms and about the men and women who are still fighting for us today. I am so grateful to all of the men and women who have and who are and who will fight for our country! My favorite part of the program is when the veterans get to stand when their song is sang. Every time I see Larry stand it brings tears to my eyes. I am so proud and thankful for him and for what he has done for our country.

Our Horse
This is our horse Angel. Mike had been out moving our cows and when he came home with the horse all saddled up and ready to go the girls had to have a ride! It was just a quick one around the yard because poor Angel was very tired as you can see in the pictures. I love the outfits the girls have on, pjs and cowgirl boots, pjs and dress shoes! Shaylee was the only one dressed for the day! Very cute :)
Halloween
For Halloween this year Taylor was a Vampire, Brooklyn a Pop Star Cowgirl, and Shaylee a Catarina! We had a fun day but it was VERY cold. First we went to the school carnival. They have big blow up slides and playhouses and the girls just love it. Sadly this year the carnival was closed about 30 minutes after we got there due to bad weather :( After the carnival we went over to Fairview and did Trunk or Treat with my sister Alesha and her kids.... it rained like crazy! Needless to say we were ALL drenched when it was over. We went to a few homes after that and called it a night.

Brooklyns Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch!
Brooklyn got to go on a field trip to the pumpkin patch with her preschool class. It was pretty cold but the kids didn't seem to mind! They all had so much fun. The kids got to go on a hayride to the pumpkin patch, when we got there they had a little maze for them to go through. After that they all got to pick a pumpkin out to take home. When they got back to the barn they gave the kids a doughnut and a coloring book. Brooklyn had so much fun! Thanks Miss Cassie :)

Carving Pumpkins :)
We LOVE carving pumpkins at our house! This year grandma Mary and grandpa Larry grew pumpkins for the girls. Mike is our pumpkin carver and he doesn't complain to much about what the girls chose to go on their pumpkins so they have a great time picking the design for their pumpkins. Poor Taylor didn't feel good at all this year so after gutting her pumpkin she went to bed but when she seen it finished she was very happy!

Mikes 31st Birthday!!!
Mike turned 31 on Oct. 12, 2010! Its funny because when we tell the girls how old we are they think were ancient! LOL Anyway Mike had to work on his birthday so we had to wait a few days to celebrate. We didn't do anything big just hung out with our little family. Me and the girls made Mikes favorite, Apple Pie :)
Big helpers ;)
We gave him a Sony handycam to take with him on all of his hunting expeditions!! Happy Birthday Honey, Love You Tonz

Out trip to Primary Childrens Hospital and then some fun!
We had Taylor and Shaylees doctor appt. at PCH on Oct.11. Mike had to work and I hate to go by self so my mom and dad came up with us. As always we go to the doctors first but after we have fun! The appt. went good better than most so I was very happy!
Every time we kind of do the same thing, meet with all of the different doctors, talk about levels, change diets if need, talk about new and upcoming changes in the PKU world, one of the doctors look the girls over and then............ time for lab work. The girls HATE this part and so do I :(
Shaylee is waiting to get her lab work done and she see this car, you wouldn't think at 2 1/2 years old she would think of a getaway but she saw the car and away she went! It was the cutest thing.
There she goes!!
Taylor is waiting for her lab work with a cute little note she had drawn for the doctor asking them to please not take blood from her arm :( She wasn't to happy when the note didn't get her out of doing her blood work.

After the appt. we went to the girls favorite place to eat. Red Robin
I love this picture of my dad and Taylor!
And my mom is going to kill me for this picture. She told me i cant put pictures of her on my blog so mom I love you and this is my apology for this picture and all the rest that follow!!

After Lunch we went to Thanksgiving Point to the Dinosaur Museum. My sister in law Vanessa and her little girl Amy meet us there. We had so much fun! I am sorry for all of the pictures but i couldn't pick just a few because I had a lot of cute ones.
This is the cutest little place where the kids get to play in the water and sand and dig up dinosaurs. Shaylee did more throwing than digging but by the time we left she'd got the hang of it!
All Taylor wanted to do all summer long was dig up dinosaur bones so i'm pretty sure this was her favorite spot!!
Even though we dusted the kids off REALLY good i still brought home a ton of sand!!
It was a long day but a fun day!
